Do-it-yourself Prices

Meadow Lake Water Treatment has been a full service water treatment dealership for over 15 years and we plan to continue that service. We test water, sell equipment, take care of problems, and service the equipment we have sold. There is a lot involved in providing all of this support to our full service customers and prices of course need to reflect that in order to keep providing that support.

Some people (myself included) would really rather do it all themselves. If you are one of them, all that you need is the equipment and maybe replacement supplies. If you know what you need, we can possibly provide it at a price that reflects the fact that you have done much of the work that a full service water treatment dealer would often do for you.

The first thing that is necessary is to find out what is in your water and what it is that you want to remove (or add). Once you have an idea of what type of water problem you are trying to solve or what elements you would like to remove you can pick the appropriate equipment.

Many of the descriptions of equipment on this website explain what the equipment can do for you and what its limitations are. It is important in water treatment not to exceed limitations. If you have an extremely difficult water problem you may be better off to have it handled by a professional in your area. It may be more costly, but as long as you deal with a reputable dealer and get a good warranty in writing you may avoid a great deal of frustration. We have dealt with many severe water problems and have specialized and elaborate equipment to handle them, but we would not sell equipment on a do-it-yourself basis in these situations.

So if you are handy person and you like to save money you may want to check out our discounted prices. Remember that these prices are for those who have done their homework. All products have factory warranties so if there is a problem with the equipment we will take care of it, but there is no warranty against misapplication or improper installation.

In our selection of products we have included only those we have used and have found to be reliable and serviceable. All of the companies represented here have been in business for at least 20 years and one is over 65 years old. If you have a special need you may e-mail us and we can try to recommend a possible product.
